Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 July 2026
1. Who we are
Weekcraft ("we", "us", "our") operates weekcraft.co.uk. For the purposes of UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, we are the data controller for information collected through this site. You can contact us at hello@weekcraft.co.uk.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us directly — name, email address, company name, and message content when you submit the contact form or services enquiry form.
- Purchase information — when you buy a digital product, checkout is handled entirely by our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy). We do not collect or store your card details; Lemon Squeezy processes payment and issues receipts as the merchant of record. See their privacy policy for how they handle your data.
- Usage data — standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referral source, collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
3. How we use your data
- To respond to contact and services enquiries.
- To deliver purchased digital products and provide support.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the site.
- To show relevant advertising on free content pages (Drops, Apps) once you have consented to ad personalisation cookies.
- To comply with legal obligations, such as tax records for sales.
Our legal basis is your consent (for the contact/enquiry forms and advertising cookies), performance of a contract (for product purchases and service delivery), and our legitimate interest in running and improving the site (for essential analytics and security).
4. Cookies and advertising
We use a small number of cookies:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function (e.g. remembering your cookie consent choice). These do not require consent.
- Advertising cookies — set by Google AdSense on our free content pages (Drops, Apps, and any blog-style posts) once you accept them via our cookie banner. These are never set on the Shop or Services pages. Google may use these cookies to show personalised ads; you can opt out of personalised advertising entirely at adssettings.google.com.
You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, or by using your browser's cookie controls.
5. Third parties we work with
- Google AdSense — serves ads on our free content pages.
- Lemon Squeezy — processes payments for digital products and acts as merchant of record, handling VAT/sales tax collection on our behalf.
- Vercel — hosts this website and processes standard server logs as part of hosting.
6. Data retention
We keep contact and enquiry form submissions for as long as reasonably needed to respond to and follow up on them, and no longer than 24 months unless a longer period is required for an ongoing client relationship or legal obligation. Purchase records are retained by Lemon Squeezy in line with their own retention policy and applicable tax law.
7. Your rights
If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@weekcraft.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or your local data protection authority.
8. International transfers
Some of the third parties above (including Google and Vercel) process data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, they rely on recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Children's privacy
Weekcraft is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
11. Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to hello@weekcraft.co.uk.
